KIANA LEDE ft. ARI LENNOX • "CHOCOLATE"

Several years ago, I wanted to create an ode to the young queen @kianalede, whose mashup covers inspired me early on. I never released this before, but I recently came across the footage and knew it deserved to be shared. This is my live cover of “Chocolate” by Kiana Ledé, reimagined with a smooth ’90s R&B vibe performed live in Sacramento, California at @sacstateunique in the #CityOfTrees. I had the honor of opening for Kiana that night, performing some of my original songs alongside an incredible lineup of musicians: @mindmajors, @davidmichaelott, @jon_bengco, @strings2thegroove, @skratchmiyagi, @kenjaplays, @heyzeusgetloose, and #roboplex. It was a live mixtape with strings experience that blended soul, hip-hop, and R&B energy. Truly one of those moments that reminded me why I love music and collaboration so much. ROCK TONIGHT • CHAPTER II "THE BAD"
In 2019 when planning to release a follow up single to "Collide With Me" I got into a pretty bad accident. This was the original single I planned to release during that time. I had a great talented team on Rock Tonight - Chapter II "The Bad". David Michael Ott once again on production and Vince Horiuchi as Director for the video. I visualized a female dancer as my counter part for this project. Vince contacted Lily Frias from the ultra unique and creative dance crew Femme Fatale. Vince was very adimate that Lily was the right dancer for this Music Video concept and I totally agreed. I hope you enjoy what we have created in Rock Tonight.
Currently I serve as the Creative Director for Blanc de Noir & Co., a family owned and operated business specializing in fine silver jewelry pieces for over the past 40 years. We currently have accounts with retailers, museums and galleries across the country, as well as internationally. For the past 7 years I have played an essential role in the marketing, creative, communications and digital. Responsible for leading the team, in developing creative guidelines and directing creative work. COLLIDE WITH ME • CHAPTER I "THE GOOD"
So several years ago I unexpectedly walked away from a life I had built, got on a plane with a one way ticket to SE Asia. Really feeling lost at the time, but trying to find myself and understand the feelings brewing in my heart. I went from one life I knew well to a life unknown, with faith in my heart that I would land where I was suppose to be. I think this song became the anthem of all that. They say art mimics life. This is the art that came from that time in my life, that landed me in Bali, Indonesia.
Currently I also serve as Head of Brand Development for client projects with Collecti.Vision. Our Collective utilizes our experience and creativity, we focus on creating authentic visual contents that tailors to our client’s needs. We hail from various parts of the world but we are united by our passion for visual imagery. Our diversity is also our strength because our professional backgrounds ensure a wide range of expertise and we work together to tackle any challenging projects. We have been commissioned and collaborated with some of the most recognized brands and reputable organizations and publications in the world. At heart, we are storytellers and our main goals as visual creators are to communicate ideas and to engage our audience. COLLIDE WITH ME • DMO LOVESICK CITY MIX
In 2019 when planning to release a follow up single to "Collide With Me" I got into a pretty bad accident, I came out of it with scars and road rash on half of my face. It took about a half a year to heal. At that time It halted things for me and forced me really examine myself again. Reflecting heavily on what mattered to me, I paused on all the music I was planning to putting out, withdrew from social media and just dove into my other creative works. Then 2020 happened to the world which i believe this magnified everyones introspection of themselves, society, the world and our places in it. Music started to remerge from me again in late 2019. I contacted my brother from another mother and producer David Michael Ott (DMO) to breath new life into my first single with this title "Lovesick City Mix". Inspiration for this Music Video was a time in my life after traveling solo through out SE Asia. I headed back home to California still a bit lost, a bit lovesickish and now finding myself in the cityscapes of LA, San Francisco and Sacramento. This emerged as "Collide With Me - DMO Lovesick City Mix.
